Downtown Los Angeles is about to gain one of its most meeting-ready addresses. Hilton Downtown Los Angeles, now in the middle of a full top-to-bottom renovation, is slated to open in late Q1 2028 at 333 South Figueroa Street. When it debuts, the hotel will offer 487 guest rooms and 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space.

For event professionals, the timing and the scale matter. Planners have long looked for a downtown property that can host serious group business without trading away style or location. Hilton Downtown Los Angeles is positioning itself as exactly that option.

Built for Groups of Every Size

The hotel's 30,000 square feet of meeting space is designed to flex. That means the same property can handle an intimate board meeting on one floor and a full-scale conference on another. With nearly 500 rooms on site, groups can keep attendees under one roof rather than splitting room blocks across multiple hotels, a common pain point for downtown programs.

Steps From the Energy of DTLA

Location is a major part of the pitch. The Figueroa Street address puts attendees within easy reach of Downtown Los Angeles's dining, arts, sports, and entertainment venues. For planners, that translates into simpler offsite dinners, easier evening programming, and an attendee experience that extends well beyond the ballroom.

Why Planners Should Act Now

The hotel is already accepting inquiries for 2028 and beyond. Because it has no existing group calendar to work around, early planners will get first pick of dates. For associations, corporate teams, and agencies building multi-year rotations, that is a meaningful advantage in a market where prime downtown dates fill quickly.
